The web app needs no account and keeps your notes in the browser. Open Froblio. Install it from the Download tab, or try it in your browser. In the browser, your notes are kept in the browser itself, so you need no account.Öffne Froblio. Pick a folder for your library. On a computer, Froblio works on a folder you choose: every note, deck and board is a file in it. Make a folder and a note. In the library, press New folder, then the + beside the folder, and choose what to make: a note, a deck, an exercise set or a task board.Leg einen Ordner und eine Notiz an. Write. The toolbar at the bottom holds the pen, the pencil, the highlighter, the eraser, shapes, text and the ruler. Drag it by its handle to any edge of the page you prefer.Schreib. How do I connect Claude or ChatGPT?Wie verbinde ich Claude oder ChatGPT?
Froblio has no AI of its own. Instead it runs an MCP server, the standard way AI apps reach other programs. Once your AI app is connected, you can ask it things like “Make ten flashcards from my Lecture 7 note” or “What is still open on my semester plan?”. It can list, search and read your notes, and, if you allow changes, add decks, flashcards and exercises and grade your answers. It can never delete anything.Froblio hat keine eigene KI. A connector added on claude.ai also works in the Claude apps on your computer and phone; the phone app cannot add one itself. If the Froblio desktop app and Claude Desktop or Claude Code run on the same computer, they can talk directly, and nothing passes through the server. You don't need to sign in for this. In Froblio, turn on Settings → Connections → Let AI apps read your library; Froblio then shows these settings with the right path filled in, ready to copy.Laufen die Froblio-Desktop-App und Claude Desktop oder Claude Code auf demselben Computer, sprechen sie direkt miteinander, und nichts läuft über den Server. /opt/froblio/froblio-mcp is where the Fedora package puts it. Copy the path Froblio shows you if yours is elsewhere. ChatGPT only takes connectors on the web, so it always goes through your Froblio account. Set it up on chatgpt.com:ChatGPT nimmt nur Konnektoren aus dem Netz, also läuft es immer über dein Froblio-Konto. Richte es auf chatgpt.com ein:
Click your name, then Settings → Apps & Connectors. Under Advanced settings, turn on Developer mode. Developer mode is offered on paid ChatGPT plans, and ChatGPT renames these menus now and then. Froblio keeps a copy of your documents in a hidden folder of your Google Drive that only Froblio can open. Your devices sync through it, also while the other one is offline. To keep the tab where it is and see it twice, right-click it and choose Split vertically or Split horizontally. This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics and loads nothing from other servers: fonts and images come from this server.
To deliver the pages, the server processes your IP address, the time, the page requested and your browser's user agent. The web server of this site writes none of it down. The reverse proxy in front of it keeps an access log to keep the server secure, which is deleted regularly (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Your choice of language, light or dark, and how you arranged the tabs on this page are kept in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device.
The Froblio app
Your notes are files on your device, or, in the web app, data stored in your browser. Froblio does not upload them anywhere unless you choose to:
Sync with Google Drive: when you connect Google Drive, Froblio copies the documents you choose into a hidden app folder of your own Google account. Google's privacy policy applies to that storage. You can encrypt the copy so that only your devices can read it.
Account: signing in is optional. It is needed for sharing documents and for connecting remote AI apps. The account stores your user name and email address.
Sharing: shared documents are relayed through the Froblio server to the people you share them with.
AI apps (MCP): an AI app on your own computer talks to Froblio directly. A remote AI app such as Claude or ChatGPT reaches your device through the Froblio server: what it reads passes through the server in memory, unencrypted, and is not stored or logged. What the AI app does with it is governed by its provider's terms.

Diese Website
Diese Website setzt keine Cookies, nutzt keine Analyse-Werkzeuge und lädt nichts von fremden Servern: Schriften und Bilder kommen von diesem Server.
Um die Seiten auszuliefern, verarbeitet der Server deine IP-Adresse, die Uhrzeit, die aufgerufene Seite und die Kennung deines Browsers. Der Webserver dieser Seite schreibt davon nichts auf. Der vorgeschaltete Reverse Proxy führt zur Sicherheit des Servers ein Zugriffsprotokoll, das regelmäßig gelöscht wird (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO).
Deine Sprache, hell oder dunkel und wie du die Tabs auf dieser Seite angeordnet hast, werden im lokalen Speicher deines Browsers abgelegt. Sie verlassen dein Gerät nie.
Die Froblio-App
Deine Notizen sind Dateien auf deinem Gerät oder, in der Web-App, Daten in deinem Browser. Froblio lädt sie nirgendwohin hoch, außer du entscheidest dich dafür:
Synchronisation mit Google Drive: Wenn du Google Drive verbindest, kopiert Froblio die Dokumente, die du auswählst, in einen versteckten App-Ordner deines eigenen Google-Kontos. Für diesen Speicher gilt die Datenschutzerklärung von Google. Du kannst die Kopie verschlüsseln, sodass nur deine Geräte sie lesen können.
Konto: Die Anmeldung ist freiwillig. Sie wird zum Teilen von Dokumenten und für entfernte KI-Apps gebraucht. Das Konto speichert deinen Benutzernamen und deine E-Mail-Adresse.
Teilen: Geteilte Dokumente werden über den Froblio-Server an die Personen weitergeleitet, mit denen du sie teilst.
KI-Apps (MCP): Eine KI-App auf deinem eigenen Computer spricht direkt mit Froblio. Eine entfernte KI-App wie Claude oder ChatGPT erreicht dein Gerät über den Froblio-Server: Was sie liest, läuft unverschlüsselt im Arbeitsspeicher durch den Server und wird weder gespeichert noch protokolliert. Was die KI-App damit tut, regeln die Bedingungen ihres Anbieters.
Handschriftproben: nur wenn du sie schickst, zum Training der Handschrifterkennung.
Deine Rechte
Du kannst Auskunft über deine Daten verlangen, ihre Berichtigung oder Löschung, die Einschränkung der Verarbeitung, ihr widersprechen und eine Kopie zum Mitnehmen verlangen. Außerdem kannst du dich bei einer Datenschutz-Aufsichtsbehörde beschweren. Schreib dafür an die Adresse im Kontakt-Tab.
